Hi clinical,
The 600 unique visitors I recieve on keyword :"free search engine" is a main traffic source from all of the subdomains of the google search engine. So if you compare your keyword to this keyword than it is from a main traffic source, not only google.com but all subdomains too.
Hope this answers your question?

Hi Sally,

Yes you must keep the first keyword (free search engine) as a constant. So compare all your keywords with this keyword, and enter this keywords as first in google trends.
example : free search engine, your keywords
Enter this in google trends.

And yes I use the magic number 600, because I know that on the number 1 position, on the keyword, free search engine, I recieve 600 unique visitors a day.

Hope this make sense. Anyway don't hesitate to contact me!
Greetings,
Chris
